David you were a wonderful man, my boyfriend, my best friend, my soul mate. You made me laugh, you made me smile, you made my heart flutter when I saw you. Your lovely face, your beautiful smile, your golden brown eyes that sparkled with love. Your strong arms that you would wrap around me, the feel of your hand in mine you always made me feel safe and loved. In the last year we had found an even stronger love, we knew we would be happy and love each other for ever. 

We had so many plans for the summer, so many things we still needed and wanted to do together, the rest of our lives would have been an adventure an exciting journey into old age. You always said we would live to be 100 !. How sad that you didn't make it.

My life seems so empty now, so hollow and bleak, I know it will get a little better as each day passes and instead of crying when I remember you I will smile and fondly remember our past life together, but for now I will live with this pain in my heart , I know it is there because I love you and you are missing from my life.
